Why I Started a Substack

and what to expect

It was only a matter of time.

I am officially on Substack! If you are reading this introductory post, it means you probably either know me personally or have been following my writing for awhile. I am so glad you are here.

Why did I start a Substack? Because I believe it will be the best way to get my voice out to more people, and I also believe it is going to give me the best opportunity to continue to enhance and improve my writing skills. On this site, I will be writing about topics that I feel somewhat competent to speak on, but will also use it as a way to write about new and different ideas. Some of the definite topics that I will be writing about include:

• Film

• Classic Literature

• Art

• Christianity/Religion

• Philosophy

• Politics/Current Events

This, however, is certainly not an exhaustive list. I am excited about the opportunity to explore, research, and discuss anything and everything that sparks my interest. Consider this first post a “test,” as I am still new to Substack and am still learning all of the different tricks of the platform.

If you subscribe to this newsletter, you will be contacted via email anytime I post. This will be a great way to keep up with my ramblings.
